I’m not sure what I like more: Kirsten Dunst’s performance in Lars von Trier’s most recent movie Melancholia, or Jens Lekman’s song about stalking her while she was in Sweden filming it.
for me, the stand out was his 3-piece rendition of “Sweet Summer’s Night On Hammer Hill.” i’ll never feel too old for audience sing-a-long participation- especially if that’s your closer. i’m oft too crabby to stand in crowded spaces that compose the concert scene of new york, but one hour set and two encores later of the jens, i fell in love with live shows all over again.
